Built over 120 years ago, Yarrum Downs House is a Federation-era homestead that carries with it the grace, craftsmanship, and spirit of a bygone time.
Lovingly restored by the same family over three generations, the home was originally located in Murwillumbah before being carefully relocated to Cudgera Creek in the early 1980s, where it now sits proudly on 50 acres of sweeping farmland and rainforest views.
Inside, the house is a celebration of heritage details: soaring ceilings, stained glass, ornate timberwork, and the soft patina that only time can create. Sunlight spills through grand windows, casting a warm glow over carefully chosen antique furnishings and modern comforts. Five spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms offer room for families and groups to come together, while still finding quiet corners to unwind.
Outside, wide verandahs wrap around the home, leading to landscaped gardens, a sparkling pool, a cozy firepit, and a private walking trail to a freshwater lake and jetty.
